Surfactants To Reach 14.3 Million Tons In 2010

Fewer than a dozen global producers of primary surfactants remain after more than a decade of consolidation in the industry, according to Colin A. Houston & Associates’ (CAHA) Surfactant developments—forecast to 2010 study. Worldwide consumption of surfactants is expected to increase 3% annually to reach 14.3 million tons in 2010.
